Jason Williamson ‘Ok I Look Around’
Jason draws and paints in watercolour and visited in July 2026. During his time at the Promenade-Exchange he focused on the views from our windows and the home observations he encountered.
Here is what he says:
"The "home observations" gave me something to contemplate while residing there. I have done similar observations for example whilst volunteering to build a community centre in Guyana in 1995.These Portobello observations led me to think of them as a game for the Claudia and Nick to find these locations in their home. This could develop into a game for their home for all visitors to find these unique architectural features.
The outside observations, especially the horizon were created as that window became a required hourly, daily place to observe from."
